The Parish Hospitality Team is one of the four Parish Teams formed in June 2017 that has been tasked with developing an Action Plan on how St. Catharine – St. Margaret Parish can create a more welcoming environment for our parish community. The Team has been meeting since the early fall and is actively recruiting volunteers to serve on 2 new important Ministries that will support this critical strategic goal of the parish:
A Parish Hospitality Ministry
This new Ministry will help us staff the volunteers we need for a variety of key Parish Events that take place during the year like the monthly Meet & Greets at St. Catharine and St. Margaret Churches; the many concerts and music programs offered throughout the year; the annual Memorial services that are held at St. Anne’s and Resurrection Mausoleum; and the annual Irish Mass in March. These are just some of the parish events where there is a critical need for volunteers to help us with event setup, food and beverage prep, and clean up.

A Parish Ministry of Lay Greeters for Weekend Masses
This new Ministry is looking for parishioners who would be willing to serve as a Greeter for one of the weekend Masses at St. Catharine and/or St. Margaret Churches. Hospitality and welcoming go hand in hand with one another and having Greeters for every weekend Mass is yet another example of how we can welcome the faithful and our large visitor community into the Eucharistic assembly and make them feel as if they are at home.
